THE WEEK AHEAD…

This week is a big one for SHATTERED: 3 wonderful events, each of their own special offering. I see lots of ethnic food and an abundance of natural wine in our futures….

First on the agenda is a very exciting collaboration with Hudson Valley local chef, Chris Weathered of Mill & Main, at the well known NYC Scandinavian spot, SMØR. Chris is serving up West-African inspired plates, and I’ll be pouring Georgian wine to pair.

What’s crazy is I was just saying how I would like to get into hosting more experiences in the big city — just a few days later Chris is hitting my line with this amazing opportunity to work together in Brooklyn.

Then, I return back home to the Hudson Valley for an event that I am personally pumped about: The 4th SHATTERED Wine Seminar, this time featuring head winemaker of Rose Hill Ferments, Sam Rogers. We will discuss organic farming in the Hudson Valley, where the Hudson Valley Wine scene is headed, and the vast array of produce/flavors available here. We will then move into a family style dinner by the beloved Jess and Harry behind Sira Ulō, a Filipino inspired culinary studio. Your ticket includes entry to the seminar, a flight of 3 Rose Hill wines, and dinner.

To finish of the week, SHATTERED is hosting an Eastern European wine tasting 4/10 in the Farmhouse at Inness (Accord, NY.) We will explore white wines from the lesser know regions of Central and Eastern European. Wines from Hungary, Georgia, Slovenia, and more. Your ticket includes a snacks and a flight of 4.
